  Bio.   Eerik is a Half-Beastman (Bear) who was adopted by Hughes' family at a young age after a disastrous event split him and his birth parents up. After a few years of training and being raised by his new family, he decides to go traveling as a mercenary to see the world. He settles on a small farm as his main base that he returns to after a long journey. A few years passed and he get's contacted by his older adopted brother to join him in Orinthia's reconnaissance unit. He agrees to join him, with condition that he can continue his travels. Becoming Hughes' eyes and ears outside of the capital.

  Personality.     Eerik is a energetic and optimistic man who loves to see the joys of life. Often found working his fields on his farm or delivering crops to the villagers and the Mocha Bean. He has a kind heart that makes many feel warm in his presence. However, he wont hesitate to strike someone down when they choose to harm those who are innocent. He does not care if its mortal, animal, or monster. There is no justice when striking someone down for no reason.

— Birth to age 9 —

Upon this time, Eerik resided with his birth parents on a coast where the sea met the foot of nature infested mountain. There Eerik was borne and learned some of the most basic things from his parents.

— Age 10 —

After a month of turning 10, disaster struck Eerik and his parents. An unknown foe attatched them in the middle of the night. His Mother and Father attempted to protect him by fending the foe off. Sadly that was unlikely, so his Mother ran off with him. With the last moment with her son, she sent Eerik away. Telling him to run and not to turn back.According to local records, this incident was covered up. What was true, was blanketed in a blanket of lies. Stating that the Hearth family living in that area perished by being swept away by a tsunami.

— Age 11 to Age 12 —

For the next two years, Eerik wandered from village to village as an orphan. Often times being chased or shooed away due to his golden amber eyes being seen as a bad omen or a curse.However, in the last village he stayed in he bumped into a cat-eared gentleman who introduced himself as Hughes. The two bonded over a few months by talking with each other when their paths crossed in town.After a failed kidnapping attempt on Eerik, that led to Hughes getting injured, their bond was cemented. Hughes extended a hand to Eerik, inviting him to become his brother by being adopted into the Renouf family. He contemplated for a few hours. Returning to the inn Hughes was staying in, he accepted the offer.

— Age 13 to Age 18 —

After telling Eerik’s tale to his parents, the Renouf’s accepted Eerik into their family. There Eerik continued his education with the family butler. While learning about combat with his new Father, and magical studies with his new Mother.Hughes stayed with him in their family home for 2 years to make sure his new brother got adjusted. When he deemed his brother would be fine without him, he chose to leave the Renouf Territory to go to the knight academy in the capital. He gifted Eerik a pair of aviator sunglasses, which would become a cherished item for him.Before they parted ways, the two of them promised to become stronger in their own ways. Hughes excited to see what kind of man Eerik would grow into.

— Age 19 to Age 31 —

As years passed, Eerik finally decided to leave the Renouf Territory to see the world and further better his skills. Perhaps even learn the truth behind the dreaded night that ripped him away from his birth parents.A month into his travels, Eerik saved a village from a rampaging monster that was covered in shadows. As a thank you to him, the village gave Eerik a large plot of land. Eerik decided to make this new place his starting and return point! A place where he could settle down and rest after a long journey, before his next adventure.He dubbed this place “Black Paw Acres”. Often using the funds he earned to remodel and clean up the old shack and land.

— Age 32 to Current —

After traveling and taking jobs as a mercenary, Eerik received a letter from his older brother. He was invited to become one of the vice captains of the Reconnaissance Unit for the Kingdom of Orinthia.Eerik agreed, but made one exception. Since he dislikes remaining in one place, he asked to be allowed to continue his travels. Hughes agreed, knowing that is just how Eerik is. Coming to an agreement, Eerik can continue his travels as long as he relays information back to Hughes. Becoming one of many field scouts for the reconnaissance unit.A plus side, is that he now has more access to information that the public is not privy to. Which may get him more insight on what happened to his parents and who the stranger that attacked them was.
